We celebrated the 4th by going to Decatur to see my parents. All of my sisters came home along with one of my brother in laws, niece and nephews. We got there Friday morning and the kids immediately got their swimsuits on and into the pool they went where they stayed until the rain and thunder forced us inside. Inside we were greeted with great food and laughs. Some of us took a much needed nap. Dad grilled hamburgers for dinner and the kids enjoyed playing together.

Saturday morning we got up and headed to the farm. It is a constant question when we go to my parents, "when are we going to the farm?" or " i want to go see the cows." We hear it over and over from jackson until we get there. The kids had fun feeding the cows, playing in the barn and just getting down in the dirt. We feel so blessed to have our kids experience the farm like we did when we were growing up.
